ABOUT APAC
The Academy of Physician Associates in Cardiology (APAC) is a constituent organization of the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) and works closely with the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and other national organizations to promote and advocate for increased utilization of PAs to provide high-quality, cost-effective care to patients with cardiovascular disease. The work APAC does centers around three core areas: education; networking; and advocacy.
ABOUT CAPP
The Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers (CAPP) Course Directors and APAC leadership believe that when NPs and PAs practice at the full scope of their education and training, they have a tremendous impact on patient care and access to care, as well as provide comprehensive clinical care as part of an efficient and enhanced cardiovascular team. It is in this belief that APAC developed CAPP, an annual educational event, designed to provide access to education and knowledge and advance the careers of NPs and PAs in cardiology. Within the framework of the CAPP annual conference, APAC will ensure NPs and PAs receive state-of-the-art education and opportunities to learn from and network with their colleagues in the field.
