Goal Statement:
To further expand the educational reach of ATTR-CM Insight: Elevating Cardiology Care Through APP Education, the satellite symposium held during the Inaugural CAPP National Conference, the joint providership of Medical Education Resources and Focus Medical Communications presents this e-Newsletter to share in-depth knowledge regarding ATTR-CM recognition and diagnosis, disparities in race and sex, and epidemiology.
Target Audience:
APPs (NPs, nurses, PAs) involved in the screening, diagnosis, and management of cardiology patients.
Learning Objectives

Identify heart failure patients at risk for ATTR Amyloidosis early and appropriately, using screening and diagnostics criteria.

Evaluate gender and race-based disparities to enhance early identification of ATTR Amyloidosis in women and people of color.

Analyze the evolving science of hereditary ATTR-CM and wild-type ATTR-CM subtypes to understand the epidemiology of ATTR amyloidosis
